We wanted to make sure there was no way that my nephew RJ would be able to wake up in the middle of the night and catch Santa in the act, so, we made him chug a little Sleeping Dog Stout from Chama River Brewing Company. (this is all a hoax, there were no brain cells harmed in the making of this blog posting...)

Glonnie Road Show Reunion Tour?

Just before Rod and his band "The Old Main" took the stage Friday night at Burts, we squeezed in a quick photo of the three original members of "The Glonnie Road Show". Laying the ground work for a reunion tour.

The biggest shopping day of the year

I know its late, but my mind is racing and has been for hours. The strangest thing about it is that of all thats swirling in my head, i cant seem to fish out one single idea, topic, mood or opinion. If i can just slow it down for a minute or two, i may be able to tell you a story, or give some advice on things to do when your mind wont let you sleep and not even your pen or your guitar can tell you why. If i could hit the pause button, i might be able to pick and choose from the hundreds of things bouncing off the walls of my head but as it is, my mind is like a Super Wal Mart and my thoughts are like the many crazed shoppers crowding its aisles the day after Thanksgiving. I wish somebody would call in a bomb threat so i can close its doors and send them all home for just a couple of hours. Bomb Threat, if i were a drug company, thats the name i would give to my sleeping pills and they would be sold at convenient stores. You would find them in little packets of two right next to all the energy drinks like "Rock Star", "Hype" and, (i just came across this one..hehe) "Game Juice". Yup, you'd walk in to Walgreens and right there next to the "Liquid Blow Power Pop" you'd find yourself some "Bomb Threat". Anyways thats a dumb idea but its all i've got right now and im finding it a little funny. Energy drink names are funny too. I think everybody who reads this should submit their idea for an energy drink and since nobody reads this crap i'll just submit one myself..... "Jabber Juice". So delirious..must sleep..... Well, time to try and put an end to the biggest shopping day of the year going on in my head, work is sounding less and less fun the longer i stay awake. Wish me luck!
